10 Prayer Points for Japan

  1. Revival Across the Nation
    Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit across Japan, awakening hearts to the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Ask God to stir a deep hunger for His Word and for many to encounter Him personally.
  2. Spiritual Breakthrough
    Japan has a rich cultural heritage but also deep spiritual strongholds. Pray for these barriers to be broken—traditions and mindsets that keep people from knowing Christ—to be replaced with openness to the gospel.
  3. Growth of the Church
    Lift up the Japanese church, asking God to strengthen leaders, raise up new pastors, and equip believers to share their faith boldly. Pray for unity between denominations and for the church to be a place of hope and transformation.
  4. Youth and Young Adults
    Pray for Japan’s younger generations, who face isolation, academic pressure, and high rates of depression. Ask God to reveal His purpose for their lives and draw them into vibrant Christian communities.
  5. Families and Marriages
    Pray for healing in family relationships, especially in a society where long work hours and social pressures often lead to disconnection. Ask God to restore marriages and bless homes with love, forgiveness, and Christ-centered values.
  6. Business and Workplace Influence
    Pray for Christian business leaders and workers to be a light in their workplaces. Ask God to bless ethical business practices and open opportunities for the gospel to be shared in the corporate world.
  7. Government and Leaders
    Pray for Japan’s national and local leaders to govern with wisdom, justice, and compassion. Ask God to place advisors and influencers in their path who will promote righteous policies and protect religious freedom.
  8. Mental Health and Hope
    Japan struggles with high suicide rates and loneliness. Pray for a wave of hope and emotional healing to sweep the nation. Ask that churches, ministries, and communities become safe places where people can find help and belonging.
  9. Missionaries and Ministry Workers
    Pray for the missionaries serving in Japan to be refreshed, encouraged, and fruitful. Ask for language skills, cultural understanding, and divine appointments that lead to changed lives.
  10. Harvest of Souls
